The S/M/A Design Group International Inc. is a multi-disciplined International Commercial Design Group always looking for the best  Marketing end result of our projects for our Clients' best interests. Daring to be different in our practical leading edge designs, we direct our attention in our projects to appeal to tomorrow's discriminating market, without forgetting about the same today.

As a group, we are not just Architects, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors or Interior Designers/Planners, but also Market Researchers, Site Selectors, Leasing Negotiators, Graphic Designers, Merchandisers, Project Coordinators/Managers and Marketing/Advertising Consultants. Above all, we are a group of professionals committed to architectural excellence and perfection to detail.

Since 1980, we have been providing our expertise and services to Clients worldwide, from throughout the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, to Middle East, Australia, Africa and Asia. Our planning and design direction has been one with focus not alone on creating a brand identity for our Clients, but as well as giving a special attention to the needs of their targeted market (design, style, disposable income, etc.), while remaining sensitive to their stores’ needs and merchandising/advertising ‘quirks’.

Our projects are as diverse as our services and include projects as Spa and Resort Hotels, Department Stores, Shopping Centers, Retail Stores, Jewelry Stores, Cosmetic Counters, Fashion Stores, Stores of Convenience and Service, Food Courts, Medical Facilities and Corporate Towers. Our Clients' companies range from small single "mom's and pop's" properties/spas/hotels/stores serving their unique local markets, to local, national and international chains and large size developments.

Our Design Group's success in our projects is the result of a process that starts with a careful market & traffic analysis, consideration and full understanding of our Clients' store operation, business plan, merchandising departments and services, followed by our ‘Practical Design Innovation’®, our techniques in the ‘Manipulation of Attention’®, ‘Manipulation of the Mind’® and ‘Manipulation of the Eyes’®, among others.
